The short answer

CalStack and SavvyCal both book meetings from a link or a widget on your website. SavvyCal focuses on the person picking a time: invitees can overlay their own calendar on your link, and it works with Outlook, Zoom and Teams. CalStack focuses on the lead before and during the call: it asks your qualifying questions first, routes leads by their answers, preps each call with AI inside Google Meet, and costs one flat price for up to 15 seats.

Choose CalStack if

  • Leads should answer your questions before they see your calendar.
  • Leads should go to the right host, a message or a page based on their answers.
  • Your team runs its calls in Google Meet and wants prep and notes beside the call.
  • You want a free plan, or one price for up to 15 seats.

Choose SavvyCal if

  • You mostly send links one by one and want invitees to see their own calendar on yours.
  • Your team uses Outlook, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
  • You want to take payment when a call is booked.
  • You want meeting polls for picking a time with a group.

Where CalStack is different

Questions come before the calendar

Every booking page starts with your qualifying questions, on the Free plan too. CalStack can draft them from a short description of who you want to meet.

Prep and notes inside Google Meet

A side panel in Google Meet shows the lead's answers and your AI talking points. Tag the outcome and take notes without leaving the call.

Analytics from the first visit

See visits, referrers, UTM campaigns, countries and devices for each booking page, next to the bookings they turned into.

One price for the whole team

The Team plan covers up to 15 seats for one monthly price, so adding a teammate doesn't change the bill.

When to choose SavvyCal instead

  • A booking page built around the invitee. Invitees can overlay their own calendar on your link to spot a free time, and you can rank which of your times you'd prefer.
  • More calendars and video tools. SavvyCal connects Google and Outlook calendars and adds Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Whereby links. CalStack works with Google Calendar and Google Meet only.
  • Payments and polls. The Premium plan takes payment at booking, and every plan can run meeting polls. CalStack does neither yet.

Switching from SavvyCal

  1. Connect Google Calendar

Each host connects their own Google Calendar. CalStack checks it for conflicts and adds a Meet link to every booking.

  2. Add your questions

Write the questions you'd ask before a call, or describe your ideal lead and let CalStack draft them.

  3. Add the widget

Paste one script tag to show the floating widget, and use the booking page link wherever you shared your SavvyCal link.
