Product Demos
Know what to show before the demo starts.
Prospects share their use case, current tools, and team size when they book, so every demo covers what they came to see.

A demo is usually won or lost in the first ten minutes. If you spend them asking what the prospect does and which tools they use, the part they came to see gets whatever time is left.
CalStack moves those questions to the booking. Prospects answer them while they pick a time, so you open the call already knowing what to show.
Where demo time gets lost
- Discovery eats the demo
Without answers up front, the call opens with the basics: what the company does, what they use today, how big the team is. The walkthrough starts late.
- Every prospect gets the same tour
With no context, the safe option is the full feature tour. A prospect who came for one thing sits through five others before seeing it.
- Notes scatter after the call
What you showed, what they pushed back on, and what happens next end up in a private doc or nowhere. The next person to speak to that prospect starts cold.
A demo, before, during, and after
01 · Before the call
Prospects tell you what they need to see
Your booking page asks about their use case, current tools, and team size before it shows the calendar. Once the booking arrives, generate talking points from those answers: an ordered agenda with suggested minutes for each topic, sized to the length of the demo.
02 · During the call
Their answers sit beside the call
The CalStack add-on opens as a side panel inside Google Meet. It matches the meeting to the booking, then shows the prospect's answers and your talking points, which you can tick off as you cover them.
03 · After the call
Tag the result while it is fresh
Pick an outcome, such as Won, Follow-up needed, or Not a fit, and type a few notes. CalStack turns the notes into a short recap with the key points and one suggested next step.
What you get for product demos
- Questions that shape the demoWrite the questions yourself, or describe the demos you run and let AI draft them. Prospects answer one question per screen, then choose a time.
- 11 question types, including single choice, multiple choice, number, and website
- Follow-up questions that appear only when a prospect picks a certain answer
- Optional questions that prospects can skip
- An agenda built from their answersOpen the booking, ask for an agenda, and CalStack writes talking points from what the prospect told you. Add your own instructions if the demo should lean a certain way.
- Suggested minutes per topic that add up to the demo length
- Edit, reorder, add, or remove topics before the call
- Generate a fresh agenda whenever you need one
- A side panel inside Google MeetInstall the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace and the panel opens in the call itself. Any teammate in your CalStack organization who joins can open the same booking.
- The prospect's answers and booking notes
- Talking points with checkboxes
- Outcome and notes, saved without leaving the call
- Outcomes and recaps you can find laterEvery demo can end with a tag and a note. Filter the bookings list by outcome to see which demos still need a follow-up.
- Default outcomes: Won, Follow-up needed, Not a fit, No-show, and Rescheduled
- Custom outcomes and colors, set by the organization owner
- AI recap with a summary, key points, and one next step, ready to copy
Works with the tools your demos already run on
Google Calendar and Google Meet are built in. Each new booking can also be posted to a Google Chat space or sent to Zapier, with the prospect's answers attached.
Questions and answers
Does the agenda include a timer?
No. Each topic has a suggested number of minutes, and together they add up to the length of the demo. Nothing counts down during the call.
Does CalStack record or transcribe the demo?
No. The recap is written from the notes you type during or after the call. Nothing is recorded.
Does it work with Zoom or Microsoft Teams?
No. CalStack creates a Google Meet link for every booking, and the side panel runs inside Google Meet. Calendars connect through Google Calendar.
Are talking points created automatically for every booking?
No. You generate them from the booking in your dashboard when you want them, and you can edit the result before the call.
Can prospects reschedule a demo themselves?
Yes. The calendar invite includes a link to reschedule or cancel. When a prospect picks a new time, the same calendar event is updated.
Who on my team can see a prospect's answers?
Everyone in your CalStack organization. Viewers can read bookings and answers, but they cannot edit booking pages or set outcomes.
